Urban Power-assisted Wheelchair (Wheelchair Reference Pack)
A Light-weight, rigid frame wheelchair with a rear-attached power assist module.
Comes with:
a .blend (Blender file) file containing basic materials (shaders) that can be edited
an .obj and .mtl file, which can be imported directly into Clip Studio Paint or other 3D modelling programs
A link to the instruction manual which includes guides on how to do things like change the colour of the frame in blender, import the files into Clip Studio Paint and more.
What kind of character would this wheelchair suit?
This chair, is an active, rigid frame wheelchair made for someone who is fairly active, independent and living in an urban environment who will not need to go off-road often. This chair has a tilted seat (called a bucket), making it ideal for people with a higher degree of lower body or trunk muscle weakness/paralysis to help them be more stable. However, it also has a taller backrest compared to other bucket seat chairs, indicating this person's paralysis or muscle weakness impacts further up their trunk, possibly up to their chest.
The large wheel on the back is a power-assist wheel, which is functionally like cruise-control for a wheelchair, allowing a person who is not very strong in their upper body to maintain their speed and go up hills without assistance, though it does not stop the wheelchair from tipping backwards. They are popular additions to wheelchairs for people with muscle weakness/incomplete paralysis in their arms as well as for people with dynamic disabilities who might need the extra help from the drive some days, but not every day/not enough to justify getting a power chair.
